"Alli"

Alli left me at around 3 months of age to be a friend for a weimaraner. She had one litter for her owner. Alli came back to me eventually after her owner moved interstate and couldn't take her too. I must admit I was very relieved to get her home, especially when the 2002 GSP National was approaching fast. Alli is the product of a 'help themselves' mating - her older brother is Ch Trupoint Woolf ('Kai'). Wow was I glad I had her for the National, as she ended up Being Best Intermediate in Speciality (18mo - 36mo) and also making it to the final 3 bitches for the Bitch Challenge (the other 2 went on to Best in Show and Runner-up in Show).

Since then we have had lots of fun in the ring - Group 1st's , Class in Group and in Show. She can be a little worried by some things as when she was a youngster she was frightened by a judge on a cold, very windy day, who had a big hat and long flappy coat. (Other dogs were frightened by this judge too!) It took us a fair while to get her confidence back in the ring, but still sometimes something will remind her of it. Not that you would notice it as she flies around the ring with her head and tail up!
 

She loves the wind in her face and will be seen with her head out of the window as we travel to shows. She  knows when we are going to the beach or to her brothers place as she will do this soft whimper the closer we get. 7 Acres of complete fenced area to free run, with bunnies, wallabies and birds to try and find. Alli likes to be as near as possible to you on the lounge or anywhere. I think if she could she would get under your skin to get that close. She is fantastic with children, I can remember at a Weimaraner speciality she was off lead all day and stayed under the canopy with the kids, we found them cuddled up together , asleep on a rug. We had a young blind girl come to a 'fun day'. Alli went up to her and we let the little girl hold her lead, Alli took her all over the park, avoiding obstacles and other dogs playing, she just knew the little girl was special. In 2003 we went over to the Melbourne Royal with several dogs, when we took the dogs to the off lead park, we would send Alli to round them up and bring them back closer or send her to break up a growling match. "Alli" Xquisite by name and by Nature.

Critique
Good sized bitch, with good bones, excellent muzzle, lovely long typical head, good eye colour, good ears, elegant long neck, well balanced compact body with excellent lines, good front, correct legs, lovely dynamic movement, pigment could be slightly better. Judge Mr Istvan Nagy (Hungary)
